With ratings like these, a lot of people are suggesting the show may get cancelled after Ncuti’s 2nd series. But I think that recent history has shown us that when the ratings on various shows and franchises plummet, and when the audience robustly criticises it, they don’t cancel. Instead they, bizarrely, double down on the crap that so many people say they hate! So I suspect Disney/Bad Wolf/BBC will continue with this for some years to come. Sadly. I just want it to end now so I can be left with my memories. But for years now even my memories are being tarnished because my favourite classic-era stories and characters are getting referenced and ripped up in new episodes (Brain Of Morbius, Pyramids Of Mars, Sea Devils etc.)
